We have updated the Allegro Terms & Conditions in connection with the DAC7 regulations
By changing the Terms & Conditions, we have adapted Allegro to the new regulations.
What DAC7 is
The DAC7 Directive — Council Directive (EU) 2021/514 of March 22, 2021 — improves reporting mechanisms between European Union member states. It highlights income from sales on online trading platforms that operate in the EU — such as Allegro or Allegro Lokalnie. On July 1, 2024, the provisions of the act (available in Polish) implementing the directive in Poland came into effect.
What obligations Allegro must meet in connection with the DAC7 regulations
The act requires us to collect, verify, and report to the tax authorities information about you and your sales if, in a calendar year, you:
- make a minimum of 30 transactions on Allegro or Allegro Lokalnie or
- make transactions for a total amount of over 2,000 EUR.
While verifying the limit, we consider the number of transactions and the sales value on all your Allegro accounts — both business and regular.
If you do not provide the required details within 60 days of receiving the first notification we send to you, we will be obliged to impose restrictions on your account. According to the Polish legislation, we may:
- block the payout of sales funds
- block your sales.
What obligations sellers have in relation to DAC7 regulations
If we ask you to provide the necessary details, complete or update them within 60 days of receiving the first notification. You will do it easily and safely on your Allegro account:
- if you hold a business account, you can complete the details in the DAC7 Information tab
- if you hold a regular account, you can complete the details in the DAC7 Information form.

What the T&C change concerns and how it affects you
The change to the T&C has allowed us to adapt Allegro to new regulations. If you fail to provide the details we require within the deadline — we will be able to block the sales funds payout on your accounts. If we do that and you still fail to provide the required details — the new regulations will oblige us to block your sales. We will lift the restrictions once you complete the required details.
Basis: imposing certain obligations by governmental authorities (sub-paragraph 14.1 (b) of the Allegro Terms & Conditions).
