We have introduced several changes to the Ship with Allegro tool
We have introduced changes to the Ship with Allegro dispatch form that concern the sender and recipient data and cost summary. They will allow you to check the delivery and dispatch details more easily.
We have introduced changes to the Ship with Allegro dispatch form that concern the sender and recipient data and cost summary. They will allow you to check the delivery and dispatch details more easily. We have also improved the shipping of orders that do not fit in one parcel — now, you can do it in one of two ways, depending on the carrier.
We display dispatch and delivery details in one transparent section
Before, we displayed that information at the top of the form in two separate sections: Sender and Recipient. Now, you will find information about the sender, recipient, carrier, and crucial addresses in one section: Delivery and dispatch details.
What you can find in specific parts of this section
in the Dispatch under the agreement section, you can see:
- the logo of the carrier or the operator that handles the particular delivery option
- the delivery option selected by the buyer
- the [change the agreement] button — click it if you want to use another agreement to dispatch a given parcel.
In the Delivery section, you will find:
- the logo of the carrier that will deliver the parcel
- information on the delivery option:
- in the case of courier deliveries, you will see the heading Delivery to address and the address for delivery
- in the case of pick-up points and parcel lockers, you will see the heading Delivery point, the address of the pick-up point or parcel locker, and the [change the pick-up point] button — click it to select another pick-up point or parcel locker on the map
- the [edit recipient’s details] button.
In the Dispatch section, you can see:
- the logo of the carrier that will collect the parcel
- the Sender’s details heading, the Pickup details heading, and your details as the seller
- the [edit sender’s details] and [edit pickup details] buttons — click on the selected button to choose another address from your Address book
- additional sections that apply to selected delivery options, such as:
- Decide how you will send parcel — for the Allegro International Czechia and InPost parcels
- I will dispatch the parcel at the post office — for Poczta Polska parcels.

We have changed the way of dispatching multiple parcels or multiple shipments at once
If you want to ship an order that does not fit in one parcel — you can dispatch it in several parts. Depending on the carrier, you can dispatch an order:
- as one shipment with multiple parcels (multi-parcel shipment)
- as many shipments — many single-parcel shipments.
Currently, you can dispatch multi-parcels only with some DPD delivery options. Other carriers only allow dispatching multiple shipments within a single order.
What the difference between a parcel and a shipment is
A shipment refers to the courier service order the carrier delivers to a specified address. A parcel is a single element of such an order, for example, a box or an envelope.
Each shipment usually contains only one parcel. However, selected carriers allow you to dispatch more parcels within the same shipment — the so-called multi-parcels.
Learn what common and individual features multi-parcels and regular shipments have.
How it worked before
Before, the Ship with Allegro form did not distinguish between two ways of dispatching multiple parcels to a single order.
In the form, we automatically suggested the entire order amount or 0 PLN — next to each parcel from a given order. To avoid inflating the insurance value and paying double the amount for the payment on delivery service (in the case of POD orders), you had to divide the amounts among parcels manually.
How it works now
Depending on the delivery option the buyer selects for a given order, you will see one of two options in the dispatch form.
- In the DPD delivery options, you will see the [add another parcel] button — under dimensions and weight in the Shipment section.
- For other delivery options: you will see the [add another shipment] button — at the end of the Ship with Allegro form.
When you click [add another parcel], we will display additional fields with the dimensions and weight of the subsequent parcel. The remaining details will be equal to all the parcels within the shipment. It means you provide the insurance value and payment on delivery fee amount only once for the entire shipment.
When you click [add another shipment], we will display another section of the form for a new shipment. Each shipment can have individual features, like type and dimensions. It means you complete the insurance value and payment on delivery fee amount (if applicable) for each shipment separately.
In addition, the Summary at the bottom of the form shows how many shipments or parcels there are in a given order and whether the order value matches the sum of amounts to be charged.
Click the button below and go to the article about orders with multi-parcels and multiple shipments. The article explains their differences and will help you dispatch your order in a selected way.
We have added a delivery cost summary
If you dispatch at least two shipments, we will display a Summary at the bottom of the page. It will show information about the insurance value and payment on delivery (if applicable).
If you notice that the sum of those amounts is higher than the order value and delivery cost, you can correct them directly there. Once you do it, click [calculate] — we will update changes in the entire form.
You can also check the detailed order value at the top of the form. Hover over the green text that reads +1 other item at the top of the form. You will see:
- the list of products in that order with their prices
- the delivery cost
- the summary of the entire order cost.
