The DAC7 Directive — check when and how you can provide the tax details
The Polish legislation implementing the EU's DAC7 Directive came into force on July 1, 2024.
According to the Act, we will report your data to the tax authorities if, in a given calendar year, you:
- make a minimum of 30 transactions on Allegro or
- make transactions for a total amount of over 2,000 EUR.
What it means for you
If you exceed one of the above limits, we will send an email asking you to provide your tax details. If you have a regular account, we will also ask you to do that with a special message in the My Allegro tabs. You have up to 60 days to provide the data.
Check what data we may ask you to provide:
- if you have a regular account
- if you have a business account.
How to provide the data
You can do it in an easy, safe, and convenient way through the new tab. Depending on whether you have a regular or a business account, you will see the relevant form.
How to use the tab
If you have a regular account, in the DAC7 information tab, you will see 2 main sections:
- DAC7 information — there, you can read general information on the Act and access the DAC7 information form
FAQ — the answers to frequently asked questions.
If you have a business account, you will complete the data in the DAC7 information tab — you can access it through the Tax information section in the Account Details tab. There, you will find:
Company registry details — you provide them while registering the Allegro account (they include, for example, the tax identification number)
- VAT number issued in the registration country of the company — enter the VAT number of your company or indicate that you do not have one
- Tax numbers issued in countries other than the country of registration — indicate whether you have such numbers or only the one issued in the registration country.
You can find more details about the DAC7 Directive in our article.
