Rules for placing links and website URLs in the offer description

Placing links in titles and descriptions of offers is subject to certain rules. First of all, you cannot provide links to websites that allow any sale of a given product outside Allegro.

Placing links in the offer title and description is subject to specific rules.

You can link to other websites only if doing so broadens the knowledge about the item (for example, there are more images or a more detailed description).

  • links to the furniture assembly manual as long as it does not contain other links or contact details
  • links to websites with images of the item (as long as those websites do not conduct sales).
  • links to websites enabling any form of sales outside Allegro, especially online stores and other e-commerce platforms (including ones with classifieds)
  • links to websites not related to the sold item. Exceptions: selling domains, online platforms, advertising space on websites, and the like.
If your business name

references a web address, you can provide it in the About the seller section.

You are banned from putting links in any form, including:

  • a part of a text
  • active links
  • graphics fragments or item photos
  • modified URLs ( for example, with dots replaced with other characters).
If we have removed your offer

which contained a prohibited link, do not change the form of the link. Instead, remove it all together.
