On May 5, we will start testing different ways of displaying videos in the image gallery
On May 5, we will launch a test to determine whether the videos that buyers can see in offers affect their decisions. We also want to check whether the position of videos in the gallery matters.
Which offers will be included in the test
The test will include all product offers to which we added videos. Changes will be visible to buyers who use browsers on desktop devices and phones, as well as app users.
What the test is about
In the offer page gallery, we will:
- display videos in the first position
- display videos in the second position
- not display videos at all.
The test will run for about a month.
What it means for you
In your offers, buyers will have a chance to see different ways the videos are displayed, or they will see no videos at all.
We will check how the dynamic content affects the buyers' interest and your sales. We want to determine whether videos make your offers more attractive and convince customers to buy from you.
We will also check whether the position of videos in the gallery matters for your buyers.
