Now you can use a new form to refuse to refund the buyer
We have introduced a new, more precise refund rejection form.
What we have changed
From now on, in the Returns tab, instead of a single general justification field in the refund rejection form, you will find a list of reasons that better reflect the possible basis for rejection:
- The goods are non-returnable (for example, unsealed hygienic products, digital content, or custom-made products)
- Business purchase (purchase for a company, and in the case of a sole proprietorship — purchase for a business purpose)
- Return of the incorrect goods
- Goods replacement
- Goods repair
- Sending missing parts
- Another reason (enter the details in the rationale).
This allows you to select a pre-defined reason for refund rejection that is more precise than before.
Why we have introduced this change
We want the return handling process to be as clear and professional as possible for both you and your buyers. With this change:
- buyers will get clear refund rejection details based on specific facts or legal provisions. This may reduce the number of customer inquiries.
- you will handle the returns quicker
- you will be able to analyze refund rejection reasons more closely to better tailor your offer to customer needs.
