How to transform a regular account into a business account dedicated to buying on Allegro Business
All you have to do is provide your company details in the form. Other information, such as password, email address, purchase history, Smart! Coins obtained, or saved payment cards will remain unchanged.
If you want to buy on behalf of your business, you can transform your regular account into a business account dedicated to buying on Allegro Business fast and easily. All you need to do is provide your business details in the form. You do not need to submit business documents nor order a verification transfer.
After the account transformation, you will keep
- the password
- the email address
- the purchase history
- your Allegro Smart! subscription
- saved payment cards
- gained Smart! Coins and coupons.
What we can change on your account
After account transformation, from your account we will remove:
- your date of birth
- your spouse’s details
- your first name and last name ― if your business is a limited liability company (Polish: spółka kapitałowa z ograniczoną odpowiedzialnością), a joint-stock company (Polish: spółka akcyjna), or a limited partnership (Polish: spółka komandytowa).
How to transform your regular account into a business account
- Open the this page.
- Provide your tax identification number (NIP) and click [business details]. We will then download the business details from the Polish Central Statistical Office (Główny Urząd Statystyczny).
- Check if the details in the form are correct. You can edit them if you need to.
- Click [switch into a business account]. Done!
When changing your account status is not possible
You cannot transform your account if:
- you have made a sale on Allegro or Allegro Lokalnie from that account in the last 24 months
- you hold a Junior account
- you are a member of an Allegro Family
- you have activated Allegro Pay.
How to create a new business account for purchases
You can create a new business account for purchases. To do that, go to the Allegro home page or the Allegro Business page.
- On the home page, expand the My Allegro menu and click [sign up].
- You will be redirected to the sign-up page.
- Select the business account for business purchases.
- Fill in a short form — provide the new account's name (login), email address to which we should send an activation link, phone number, and basic company details — country and NIP (the Polish Tax Identification Number). Then, click [next].
- Click [download company data] ― we will download the company details from GUS (the Polish Central Statistical Office), CEIDG (the Polish Central Registration And Information On Business), or VIES. If it is impossible, you will see a relevant message in the form. In this case, provide the business details yourself.
- Finally, click [sign up]. We will send an email to the address you provided. Open the email and confirm the registration. Done!
On the Allegro Business page, you can also create a new account for purchases or transform your existing regular account into a business account for company purchases.
How to sell on Allegro Business
You can list offers and take advantage of the Deferred Payment for Businesses if you verify your details with a transfer and submit business documents ― just as in the case of a standard business account registration.
