From now on, you can refund payments in advance only through Allegro Finance
Learn what we have changed in refunds to buyers.
From today, in the Returns tab, we no longer show the buyer's bank account number next to the orders for which they have paid in advance. It means you can issue refunds only through Allegro Finance.
Thanks to this change, you can process returns in one place. Both you and the buyers will also see current payment refund statuses in your Allegro accounts.
What about other payment methods
The change applies only to options with payment in advance. If a buyer pays on delivery, with a standard transfer, or with a deferred payment, you can issue the refund in the same way as before.

- You can hold a selected amount in Allegro Finance so that you always have funds necessary for a quick refund in your account.
- You can enable automatic refunds to make handling complaints and canceled orders easier. See how it works.

Why we are doing it
We want to improve the comfort and safety of refunds — both for you and the buyers. We also want to make sure you are issuing them in line with the Consumer Rights Act. According to it, the money refunded for a product return should be transferred to the same payment instrument that was used for the purchase.
