From now on, we will also display multipacks on the offer page
This option allows buyers to buy products in sets more easily — and you get a chance to sell more. See the details.
Thanks to multipacks, you can sell multiple units of the same product in a set. It is impossible to buy products from a multipack separately — the buyer always buys the whole set.
What we have changed
On the offer page, we have added the Multipack section. That is where we display available options:
- a single product, including the price
- a maximum of 3 multipacks, including the price and the percentage discount compared to the price of a single product.
Example
You sell wet wipes for kids. We display:
- the price of an offer with a single product — 9 PLN
- the price you set for a multipack that consists of 2 products — 17 PLN with the price per unit (2 x 8.50 PLN)
- the price you set for a multipack that consists of 5 products — 40 PLN with the price per unit (5 x 8 PLN).
Based on your prices, we display the percentage discount compared to the price of a single product — in this case, 6% and 11% respectively.
How we select multipacks for display
We display multipacks on the offer page only if it is cheaper or price-neutral for the buyer to buy more units of the same product. It means that if the multipack is more expensive (per unit) than a single product currently being viewed — we will not display it.
This rule applies to both your multipacks and those of other sellers.
What buyers will see
Buyers viewing your offer will see possible multipacks for that product that meet the display criteria. If you do not have them in your assortment, we will display other sellers' multipacks that meet the display criteria in your offer. When a buyer clicks on such a multipack, we will redirect them to the product page of the other seller.
Why we are doing it
We want to show all product purchase options available on Allegro — whether individually or in multipacks. This will make it easier for buyers to find multipack options and give them a wider choice. You, on the other hand, have the chance to boost your sales — you can win over customers who are looking to buy more units at an attractive price.
