From April, cost refunds will be easier to read
The changes we are planning to introduce will make your settlements with us more transparent.
From April 1, information in the Settlements with Allegro tab will be more precise — you will know exactly how much we are refunding you and for what. We will also adjust the information about your settlements in some tabs. You do not need to do anything regarding these changes.
What we will change on your bill
- Now: we combine the refunds of certain fees, such as sales commissions or Featured offers sales commissions, and display them as a single transaction: Costs refund.
- From April 1: we will display the refunds of certain fees in your settlements as separate operations. This way, you will know exactly how much we are refunding you and for what.
See an example of how it will look like
Now: the buyer canceled a purchase in your Featured offer. We refund you as a transaction rebate:
- the sales commission on this offer
- the sales commission on a Featured offer.
In Settlements with Allegro, you see both refunds as a combined amount and a single operation — Costs refund.
After the change: in Settlements with Allegro, you will see both refunds as separate operations:
- Sales commission — and refund amount
- Sales commission on featured offers — and refund amount.
What else we will change
- In the Orders and Returns tabs, you will easily go from an order to charges and fee refunds for that order.
- In the Fee summary tab, you will easily go from the operations history to Settlements with Allegro, where you can find a clear overview of both charges and refunds.
