Do you sell products containing F-gases? See what obligations you have
See how to list offers with products like air conditioners, heat pumps, and refrigerators in accordance with the law. Such devices contain fluorinated greenhouse gases (F-gases), which are subject to special sales rules.
What it means for you
In the listing form, you will see a message informing about the regulations in certain subcategories. We will remind you that if you sell:
- household appliances (like refrigerators or dryers) and fire extinguishers — you need to provide information about the F-gases in the offer description
- refrigerants (bulk gases) — you can only sell them to buyers who hold an F-gas certificate. Verify that before dispatching the product.
- air conditioners and heat pumps — ask the buyer for proof that the device will be installed by a certified person.
Complete the new parameter: F-gases
To complete the F-gases parameter, click [more parameters] in the listing form. You can choose between selecting:
- the [no] value if your product does not contain F-gases or
- the name of the gas your product contains.
We will display that information in the section with parameters on your offer page.

- provide the relevant technical data
- confirm that your offer complies with the law.
