Check the new display location for the Allegro Ads video ad
From today, we can display your Allegro Ads video ads in the left-hand column on the product list.
Before, we displayed Allegro Ads video ads beneath the product search results browsed by the buyers. From today, we can display the ad also on the left-hand side of search results. The new display location can help you reach more customers with varied interests.
What rules we follow when displaying the video ad in the new location
- We will display the ad regardless of what products the buyers are browsing at the moment. That means we may display the ad in categories that are not directly related to the page content.
- We adjust offers in the ad to buyers' previous searches and how they use the platform. The ad is related to the categories in which the buyers searched for products.
- We use the advertising space shared with Allegro Ads display ads. That is why, depending on the searches, we may show the Allegro Ads video or display ads.
Example
You run a video campaign with products from the Home and Garden category, and your offer is in the Furniture — Cabinets subcategory. From November 7:
- we will display your video ad in the left-hand column on the product list to buyers previously interested in offers from the Furniture category, who are now browsing another category — for example, Smartphones
- your ad will compete for display in the left-hand column from the minimum rate of 11 PLN.
What the new display location of video ads means for you
- If you already use video ads
From November 7, the new display location — Left-hand column on the product list— will be selected by default. If you want, you can uncheck it yourself. You can also prepare separate ad groups for two different video ad display locations and set different CPM rates for them.
- If you want to prepare a new video campaign
In the Allegro Ads Dashboard, the new display location — Left-hand column on the product list — will be selected by default. If you want, you can uncheck it yourself.
