As part of a test, some buyers will see delivery information displayed differently
We launched a test in which some buyers see delivery information displayed in a different way than before.
How it is now
In an offer, buyers see information about:
- the fastest estimated delivery time
- the lowest delivery cost: Delivery from PLN X
- general conditions for a free Smart! delivery — to pick-up points and courier deliveries.
The information we display can apply to different delivery options, for example:
- the fastest estimated delivery time — applies to the Paczkomat InPost delivery option
- the lowest delivery cost: Delivery from PLN X — applies to the Registered letter delivery option.
What we changed as part of the test
We combined information about the fastest and the cheapest delivery option into one. As part of the test, we will display:
- complete information about a single, most beneficial option — fastest and cheapest
- information on the conditions the buyer needs to meet to use a free Smart! delivery
What it means for you
If, in your offer, you enable delivery options from carriers for which we display different same-day dispatch times, buyers may see the earlier time in that offer — if the delivery option from that carrier is cheaper than one from the carrier with the later time.
See examples
You enable three options with fast delivery in your offer:
- delivery tomorrow — buy before 1 p.m. (for free)
- delivery tomorrow — buy before 3 p.m. (for 11 PLN)
- delivery tomorrow — buy before 6 p.m. (for 15 PLN).
What buyers will see as part of the test:
- before 1 p.m.: delivery tomorrow — buy before 1 p.m. (for free)
- after 1 p.m.: delivery tomorrow — buy before 3 p.m. (for 11 PLN)
- after 3 p.m.: delivery tomorrow — buy before 6 p.m. (for 15 PLN).
The buyer will see the best option available in the offer at that moment. In the offer, we will display the delivery option with the latest same-day dispatch time, which also has the highest delivery cost, when options with earlier same-day dispatch times and lower delivery costs are no longer available.
If you enable more than one option with the same delivery cost, we will display one with the latest same-day dispatch time.
